I know I told you I was going to post the tutorial for the monogrammed shams today, but I ended up waiting until the last minute and it just didn’t happen. Tutorials take me a lot of time to put together and I didn’t want to half ass it. Hopefully, you’ll forgive me!
Instead, you’re getting sweet-as-pie baby pictures I took yesterday.
As with everything lately, time has completely gotten away from me and I realized I never scheduled 3 month photos for Sam. I know, I know… It’s kinda silly to schedule photos to be done every 3 months, but I did it for Izzy and Mommy Guilt has taken over and I don’t want him to feel like he wasn’t special enough. I mean come on, the poor guy has worn some of Izzy’s hand-me-down jammies that weren’t exactly gender neutral.
In true Shelley form I figured I would try to DIY it. And you know what, they actually turned out great! I’m certainly not calling myself a photographer, and I’m sure a real photographer would find lots of mistakes, but hey I’m pretty thrilled.
Here are my favorites. Warning: it’s hard for a mom to pick favorites of her baby, so I’m bout ready to hit you with a load of photos.
Just try and be upset with me now. I bet you forgot all about those pillows 😉
If you have any questions, hit me up in the comments.

Oh my, those eyes! Both of your children have the most beautiful eyes. I would definitely call you a photographer. Can I hire you?
What a sweetie!!
So precious! I did most of my son's baby photos myself — it was so easy to get good shots when he was little! When they start moving more, notsomuch. 🙂
I think your pictures are amazing! I want to know what mode your camera was in and how you got those beautful eyes to shine so much! I think you might want to add photog to your resume!
Oh my gosh, so sweeeeeeeet!!! I suck at photographing people, so I'd be interested to know what modes you used as well.
He looks like his sister through the nose and eyes. Too stinkin' cute.
Oh my goodness, those EYES melt my heart! So precious!
Aww!!!! So precious. His eyes are the most gorgeous shade of blue. All the pictures are beautiful. I love the one of his little hand.
I love him. He is absolutely perfect. And, your pictures are amazing. I can't stop looking at his sweet face!
Your pictures are amazing!! So sweet!!!
I have a 4 month old who I would love to photograph… any sneak peaks into what your "set" looked like? I love how you have a white background…but not sure how to get that look?
Your pictures are gorg!!! I was wondering what kind of camera you used for them?? They look totally professional!
Thanks Carissa! I use a Canon Rebel EOS with the plain ol lens that comes with it. I'm planning on doing a post for you guys about it. Nothing fancy here!
