I felt pretty blah this past week. An overwhelming to-do list, this freaking ridiculous heat, and an off and on migraine had sucked me dry. Yesterday I watched Izzy as she inhaled a popsicle. I just love how something so simple can make a kid so happy. I know it sounds silly, but she totally filled up…
I lost Izzy for a couple of minutes today. I found her in her room with the door shut. When I opened it I was met with this… as Izzy announced, “Introducing the new and improved Ruff!” Hahahaha!!! Poor thing. I really can’t believe he let her put it on him. I guess it is…
Still can’t believe Sam has gone off to Kindergarten this year. Man, that happened fast!! It has been two and a half years since he made the switch to a “big boy” room. When we made that switch, a large amount of the art I used above his dresser was leftover from his nursery. Nothing…
With a new baby on the way, my husband and I had been talking about taking Izzy on a babymoon. One last hurrah as the only child. Disney World was tossed around, but by the time we got around to deciding a destination, I wasn’t up for squishing myself into a plane and then walking…
Today Izzy started her first day of Preschool! Woot!!! Woot!!! We were doing the usual first day of school photo and I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up. “I want to be a beaver! They get to ride bikes, scooters, and eat fruit up in trees!” Ha! …
I really do have an excuse for not posting in such a long time. I’m in the middle of a home reno that doesn’t seem to want to end! Its been going on pretty much since November. And, I’ve reached the point where I’m starting to get a little burnt out. None the less, it…

I am the parent of all boys….your kiddos are adorable and I love seeing your posts.
I would look at his diet….is he eating a great deal of processed foods? My youngest son is very very sensitive to artificial colors/dyes/preservatives. We found that his behavior improved significantly when we excluded these things from his diet. I suspect that it could be dietary mediated. I say this as a parent of all boys and as an NP, wellness coach and functional nutrition advocate. Happy to help!
Thank you so much for your insight Cynthia! How old was your son when you made the dietary switch?
He totally looks grown up in this pic. Waaaaa!
