Izzy’s room was included in my house resolutions I posted about here. It was the first thing on the list to get attended to as it needed to happen asap. Here’s a little sneak peak of what I’ve been working on! Good news is she’s pleased as punch to be in a “big girl” room. Even better news,…
This year, Izzy went as her newest obsession – Strawberry Shortcake! I picked up her hat and leg warmers from Sugar Baby Knits on Etsy. The title song is currently playing in my head. I hope it leaves soon… This kid was SO excited to go trick-or-treating this year, I could NOT get her…
I recently added a bubble light chandelier in the office and cannot get over how cool it makes the space feel! So far, I think this is Mike’s favorite part of the entire office makeover. When he is working from home on video calls he gets compliments on it all the time which I think…
I know brass is making a come back in design, and I really do love it, just not surrounding the fireplace. The house we’re renting has a case of the bad brass. I needed an easy and temporary fix to hide it. Enter solid black washi tape to the rescue! The washi tape was SUCH an easy…
So, I’ve been wanting to paint the powder room for quite some time now, but have kept in on the back burner until some of the major projects have been taken care of (painting trim, new doors, etc). I finally tackled it when I needed a break from painting all of the windows. Which now…
I love the 4th of July. All the beautiful American Flags everywhere just make me happy. For whatever reason, I have never decorated our front porch for the 4th until this year. I wanted something simple that I could easily toss up and take back down. And since I’m such a last minute gal, everything…

Shelley I love seeing all your fab projects from 2015 all in one place. Can I just tell you how much I enjoy your posts and tutorials? Always so creative and well written, plus great photography. Thank you for all you share here! It's a joy to be a reader. 🙂
Oh my goodness Lisa, thank you so much!!! Your comment just made my week 🙂
it's all so good- you have such a beautiful and distinct style! i think sam's room is my absolute favorite, but i really love it all. i think in 2016 you should focus on my house and come here and work.
I think Sam's room is my favorite right now too, but don't tell Izzy 😉 If I'm ever your way I will be getting ahold of you and you'll have to redecorate after I leave because I'm going to snag everything out of your house to bring back to mine. I love your style!!!
Dayum girl! I was feeling pretty proud of myself for just folding the laundry right away (Quinn was sick of wearing wrinkly clothes, I could tell) until I saw your year in review! In all seriousness, you've inspired me all over again to get my buns in gear on some projects! Man you rocked them.
Happy New Year, love!!
xo
Rest assured we are wearing wrinkles every day because even with the refresh button I STILL can't get those damn clothes out if the dryer in time!!!
More than anything you're making me miss when my kids were little. They are so sweet! You've done such a great job and I'm especially taking notes of the bathrooms and mudroom.
Thank you Jennifer 🙂 I'm eager to see what you do with yours, I know it will be good!
The laundry room is still my favorite.
Most miraculous part of the laundry room is that it always stays clean! I can only say that about this room. I think that's why I still love it so much 😀
Don't you feel great looking back at all of your accomplishments? Wow, what a year you had! Those bathrooms alone are just fabulous and I think I need to reread the laundry room ones because I need to get mine in better shape. Always enjoy your blog!
Shelley
Thank you so much for reading, Shelley 🙂 I tell ya what, that laundry room makeover has made doing laundry sooo much less of a hassle.
