This Year’s Fall & Halloween Decor
Before Halloween got away from us, I wanted to share this year’s Fall and Halloween decor with you. It usually takes me a while to lean into this time of the year with decorations since we’re still sweating and swimming down here in Houston. But once I do make the switch inside, it gets me excited for the cooler temperatures to come and the holidays. Sam’s Bedroom Refresh Reveal
Well, it took me long enough! Today I’m finally doing Sam’s bedroom refresh reveal. If you have been following along from the beginning of this I started with the refresh mood board, and then shared some progress here. While I was working with a lot of what he currently had in his room, it still took longer than expected. Basically I was just dragging my feet thinking I should change more things up before realizing I didn’t need to. Reminding myself this was a refresh, not a total makeover. So, here we go! I’ll have a full source list at… Read More
Quick Ship Home Decor
We’ve all experienced the backorder of basically any and everything over the last year. It feels like everything is out of stock! I should have been long done with Sam’s bedroom refresh, but of course ran into shipping issues on some items. While I have basically just given up on those few things, I was able to quickly get in a couple of other purchases. One of my favorite stores, Serena & Lily, has a cool new feature on their site where you can filter your choices to what’s in stock and will ship in 1-2 or 2-4 weeks. The… Read More

We hired cleaning out because I dreaded cleaning our master shower. Not just the ughhh… cleaning sucks way, but in a this is making me sick way. Being stuck in our shower breathing in strong chemicals while scrubbing tile always brought on an asthma attack and headache for me. Not good. Over the Summer we wanted to cut down on some of our non-essential spending. I… Read More
