It’s not even December and I’m already feeling behind the ball. I’ve wanted to put together a fun Christmas brunch and Secret Santa gift exchange for friends for a couple of years now. I have yet to pull it off. Maybe this will be the year. If I can do it, here’s what I’ve been dreaming about.
INVITES // You just can’t go wrong with an online invitation. Being able to send them out immediately and the ease of RSVP make them my go-to. This Rifle Paper Co. invite from Paperless Post stopped me in my tracks. The non-traditional Christmas colors were the inspiration for everything else. You can also craft it as a Christmas card, which brings me to my next point. I just noticed they also have a bunch of great PAPER photo Christmas cards. I’m adding them to my list of sites to check this year.
DECOR // This moody table setting is speaking to me. There’s black. I always like a bit of black in my decor, and I love how it contrasts with the bright orange in this DIY wreath. Again, not your traditional Christmas wreath, but it’s gorgeous.
FOOD + DRINK // Orange and cranberry scones. Orange. Noticing a theme here? This Mushroom and Goat Cheese Frittata needs to go ahead and get-in-nah-belly. And, I like this delicious spin on a mimosa.
GIFTS // With a group of friends, I think a Secret Santa exchange is the way to go. Love the simple wrapping on these packages. I think this t-shirt would be a fun gift and it’s totally brunch appropriate 😉
Do you guys do Secret Santa’s with your friends? What’s the best or worst gift you’ve received?
i wish i was close enough to come! sounds so fun!
One of these days we are definitely going to have to get together!
