Holiday decor seems to pop up earlier and earlier every year. And, it’s no secret companies are still dealing with product shortages and shipment delays. So even though I can’t help but roll my eyes when everything shows up in stores super early, I know that if I want something now is the time to get it. Here is what has caught my eye for Christmas decor to pick up now.

I am not one who reinvents my Christmas decor every year. First, that’s just not something I want to spend huge amounts of money on every single year. And secondly, I think there is something special in pulling out pieces you have used year after year that have wonderful memories attached to them. Now having said that, I do like adding a few pieces to my decor collection each year or swapping out items that have been damaged or broken. I also believe you can breath new life into your existing decor with some minor changes. I’ll show you what I’m adding to my decor this year as well as some ideas for refreshing existing Christmas decor.
Christmas Tree Toppers
The grown jewel of your tree. It’s a simple change that won’t break the bank. I’ve rounded up some beautiful options below that would look gorgeous on any tree.
Tree Collars
A tree collar is my preferred way to dress up the tree trunk. It’s clean, minimal, and hides the entire trunk. The year I added a tree collar I was so surprised how different my tree looked. I have this neutral woven tree collar and imagine I will be using it for several more years to come.
Tree Garland + Ribbon
Another change that will give your tree new life is different garland and/or ribbon. I especially like the more casual look of wood bead garland. A nice neutral will work with any color of ornaments.
Now the most cost effective change you can make is tying ribbon to the ends of the branches. You also don’t need as much ribbon as you would if you were wrapping the tree in ribbon. And, I think it is such a sweet touch. That’s a fun change if you are someone who likes changing out your colors every year. I’m planning to add some darker rust or burgundy ribbons to my tree this year. You can also tie the ribbon in with your wrapped gifts.
Christmas Houses
Last year I started a small Christmas village house collection. It’s a classic that will always feel right to me. I just added to my collection with this handcrafted set of houses. They are so substantial and perfectly imperfect. I cannot wait to pull them out!
More Christmas Decor
There were a few more pieces that I wanted to include in this round up. Some pieces are ones that I already have and couldn’t recommend more, and others have just caught my eye this year. Like the advent calendar hoped into my cart while I was out the other day. The kids have always wanted one and the simplicity of this one ended up being the winner. Plus, there are no little gifts involved that I know I won’t be able to keep up with.
It amazes me what they are able to do with realistic faux greenery lately. This wreath will have everyone fooled. I love ornaments that I can pass on to my kids. When I saw this set of two ornaments I knew they would be the ones.
