Holiday Burnout set in hard this year, which is why I am sharing this year’s Christmas Home Tour at the very last minute. I would have been super frustrated looking back had I not shared something, but it just won’t be incredibly thorough. I’m sure you’ll understand! I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Entry

I’ve ben hanging a wreath on the entry hooks for year now. You just can’t make decorating this part of the entry any easier! The entrance right off of it into the guest room has some stacked art you see as soon as you walk in. Some of the faux garland pieces had fallen off in another part of the entry so I combined those with some leftover velvet ribbon to dress up the art.

Moving into the house a little further is our entry table under the stairs. I used to place our nativity scene here but decided to switch things up this year. I could not love this set up with my diffuser in the metal house lantern any more!! The trees have been collected over the years from Homegoods. The vintage brass deer belonged to my grandmother and hold a special place in my heart.

Our nativity set now sits on the piano in our dining room. This is the same set that I painted white five years ago. Still so happy with that decision!

Living Room

Definitely my favorite room to decorate for Christmas is our living room. Our tree looks brand new with the Christmas light makeover I gave it! I also added a new tree topper this year, this paper mâché gold star. It looks identical to the one from Anthropologie but for less.

The small gold ornaments were a fun little DIY. They were a previous DIY I had tired of and had in the attic for a few years (black balls with white paint pen over the top). I repurposed them with some gold Rub n’ Buff, copper spray paint for the caps, and brown velvet ribbon. Velvet ribbon immediately dresses up any old ornament. So in love with them now! They tie in nicely with the large gold ornaments from Hobby Lobby in my paper mâché bowl I picked up at Round Top this Fall.

Basically the same fireplace decor as last year, but better. I added in some rust colored dried eucalyptus to my mix of old garlands as well as my brass bells and more velvet ribbon. This one might be my favorite yet.

Kitchen

As I’m sure the case is in your home over the holidays, our kitchen gets worked over in the best way. Because of that I like to keep the counters free from extra decor. The hood gets a large wreath and it’s the perfect touch for me. I did add in a new runner recently. The colors are beautifully muted and looks like a vintage rug without the price.

Remember me sharing the different ways you can decorate with Christmas houses? Mine ended up finding a home on our kitchen shelves! They were just too cute there to move them. I’m so thrilled I picked them up this year. I’ll have this set of houses forever.

I am so grateful for you stopping by! I hope you found some inspiration that you can save for when you’re planning your home’s holiday decor next year. I’ve got some fun changes already in the works for our home after the holidays and am excited to share it all with you.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my family to yours!!
