Time for Color My World!
Last week I showed you the inspiration photos for my color – hot pink.
This week the challenge was to add the chosen color in a decor item. Here’s what I did.
Pink peonies.
I also threw in some long stems in a similar vase for the table in the background. That side of the room really needed some height over there. And by accident I ended up bringing blue into the room when I was searching the house for vases. Sometimes accidents are a good thing ;)
What… you can’t see the pink???
Yeah, it’s not that noticeable in photos. How about now?
Still kinda hard to see it :D
I promise next week, when I add hot pink through paint, it will be more exciting!
And…. We want you to join in on the Color My World Challenge!
At the end of the challenge, May 1st, there will be a link party so you guys can all play along with us and show everyone how you’ve incorporated a new color into your home. Fun right! So get on it!!! Be fearless (ok, I’m still a little fearful of this color) and try out a new color!

Is there any end to the gorgeousness of peonies?? They are my fave, especially in hot pink, and that color complements your walls so well!! Love the little pop of color that doesn't take over the room – perfect!

Dining room looks great with pink peonies. I think, you are using ceramic vases. Am I right? Why I'm big fan of this color my world challenge… This is another best project to be here. I've re-publish list on my blog.

Amazing! I love it. Crazy how much bigger it looks without the hutch, which I always loved, but love this setup even more.
Your dining room is gorgeous!
I love the idea of adding color through fresh flowers! Such a great touch, Shelley!
