cowgirl birthday party

Izzy has been all about horses this past year, so when it came time to come up with a theme for this years’ birthday party, I knew a cowgirl theme would be right up her alley.
As soon as it was decided she told everyone, even strangers that would pass by at the store, that she was having a horse party 🙂
My favorite part was her name in rope on the pallet. Super easy to put together using an old pallet from Papa’s farm, rope from the home improvement store, and a staple gun.
The dessert table had a pink strawberry cake (as requested by the birthday girl), chocolate cupcakes with butter cream frosting (I’m drooling as I write this), pink cowgirl boot sugar cookies, s’mores on a stick, and trail mix.
There was also a bunch of lemonade flowing to help keep the “horsin around” at max level. Oh yes I did 😀
In between playing and eating the girls had their very own table set up so they could color and craft their little hearts out.
The highlight of the party was without a doubt…
Tatortot!!!
Seriously the sweetest little pony I ever did see!
And, I’m kicking myself for not getting this on video. Izzy was jumping up and down and squealing with excitement like I’ve never seen before when she first saw him walking up 😀 Totally worth it!
The girls had such a great time taking turns riding Tatortot.
And, helping him keep the clubhouse grounds manicured 😉
Until next year, that’s all folks!

NewestAdorable party. Love the pallet and rope name. So clever. I wish my kids were still young enough to let me throw them cute parties. So, was it warm or cold. Izzy has on short sleeves outside and pony guy has on a hoodie, puffy vest and gloves. Was he just a wimp?
