It has been about ten months since I finished the wall moulding in our bedroom. We have a wall opposite our windows that I knew I wanted to add something to, but just wasn’t sure what. So, I let the wall sit bare (aside from the new moulding) until inspiration hit. I highly suggest you fight the urge to slap something up or in a space just to fill the void. I have found that I’m usually never happy with my impulse decision, and end up eating cost when I change my mind. Inspiration finally hit, and I’m thrilled to share with you my eclectic bedroom gallery wall!

Before

Certainly nothing wrong with the wall before. The moulding added a lot of interest as is. But I did want something on that side of the room that would tie in some of the black elements I have in this space.

How to Create a Gallery Wall

I partnered with Custom Picture Frames on this eclectic bedroom gallery wall project. They are my go to when it comes to frames. You can see more of their frames in my hallway gallery, Izzy’s bedroom makeover, and our living room TV wall refresh. Since everything is created custom you aren’t limited to standard frame sizes, and you can truly create the gallery wall of your dreams.

For all the information on how I started this gallery from scratch, how to choose an eclectic mix of frames and art, my favorite trick for “trying on” looks in your home, and how to hang it right the first time, visit my post on the Custom Picture Frames blog. You’ll also find a lot more photos there.
