Lately I’ve been thinking about different holiday traditions that I want to start for our family. I was going through my memories of things my parents did when we were kids, and one that I loved so much was when it was time to pull out the flannel sheets. It may not be a typical tradition, but it was one that I got so excited about as a child I knew I wanted to do the same for our kids. There are so many fun options that you’ll actually have a hard time deciding!
Girl’s Flannel Sheets
Izzy decided on these sweet Nutcracker themed flannel sheets that are so perfect for her! She is a little ballerina herself and we have our own tradition of going to the Nutcracker just us girls each year. These are so soft you guys. It makes me want to get a set of flannel sheets for our bed.
Boy’s Flannel Sheets
As soon as Sam laid eyes on these cute Snoopy flannel sheets he knew those were the ones for him! This little boy of mine adores puppies. He actually sleeps with about six stuffed puppy dogs every night. I love the black and white pattern with the red accents. Sam loves that it feels like he’s “sleeping with a bunch of soft puppies” 😀
Some of My Favorites

Last night was the kids’ first night sleeping on their new flannel sheets. They were actually so excited about them that they went to bed early. I am now going to refer to them as Pure Magic Sheets. What are some of your fun traditions for the holidays?
