What should Izzy be for Halloween this year? I’ve been asking myself this question pretty much since Halloween ended last year. I know, I’m ridiculous. I’ve searched the internet non-stop trying to find an idea for the perfect costume. Finally found the cutest little owl costume at Pottery Barn Kids’ website. I’m in love! Being…
Every once in a while I come across something that I really love and thought it would be fun to share those finds with you guys. Β This grouping of favorite finds is pretty random, but that’s me, I’m all over the place lately π No. 1 // I used to wear turtlenecks a lot and…
My husband has had his grandmother’s secretary desk for years, long before we were married. It’s always been with us, but in six houses (good grief we’ve moved a lot) this is the first home where it has been in a main room and visible. I’ve never spent any time styling it, mostly because I…
Home Tours are always so fun to put together. If you have wandered over here from Peonies on Pleasant’s tour, welcome, I am so happy to have you! I realized it has been a while since our master bedroom has been shared on the blog so I thought this would be a great time to…
Last week I showed you guys my messy laundry room. I worked on it over the weekend and am so freaking, stinking excited about how it turned out!!! A reminder of the state it was in before. The makeover started with making a skirt to hide all the junk under the table top. I had a…

oh my goodness i love this! the curtains are so perfect! i want to come trick or treat at your house!
I should let you know that I bought the cheap candy this year. In years past, I get the good chocolate stuff and eat it up before the trick-or-treaters even arrive. My pants told me that's a no go this year.
The curtains are such a fun holiday addition, and the paper lanterns!!!! Gotta love living in Texas where you can have all this cute stuff outside in October! Your kiddos must be loving it!!
It was only 85 degrees out (unfortunately that's considered cool) and I was still baking in the sun putting this up. Like, I had to go inside, drink a lot of water, and regroup halfway through π
So fun! Love the striped curtains and your diy cat is the cutest!!
