I was looking through my Home Tourpage for our current house and realized some of the photos were now outdated as I’ve since switched things up. Well, it’s now updated with some new photos! If you haven’t yet checked out the Home Tour, I’d love to have you over 🙂
The old entry shot used to look like this:
And the updated shot:
I know, you’re looking at the two with a weird face asking yourself what in the world is different 😀 In the new shot of the entry the old chandelier has been swapped out forthe new one that I battled with. I also added some new lamps to our entry table after one of them fell and broke several months back. I couldn’t replace the broken one since they were no longer available, but I’m seeing that as a blessing in disguise because I’m completely in love with these affordable glass and brass lamps I found instead. As I’m writing this post, the lamp bases are on sale for $36!
I also included some photos of the opposite side of the room so you can get a better feel for the room’s layout.
I hope to be adding even more photos to the Home Tour page in the next week or two once I get Izzy’s little bedroom refresh completed. Should have that done after Spring Break. Ugh. Spring Break. I almost forgot about it this year. I have zero plans for how to entertain the kids during the break. It’s been so rainy and gloomy here in Houston lately. I’m praying for some sun next week so at the very least I can get the kids outside. Do you guys have any fun plans? I’d love to hear them so I can live vicariously through you 🙂
Last week I shared our simple front porch with you, and earlier on a glimpse at our unadorned tree. This week, I’m sharing our Minimal Christmas Home Tour. I’m calling this minimal because this is probably the least decorating I’ve ever done for Christmas. I wouldn’t say that it’s bare, but rather very simplified. But…
This is one of those projects I’ve had done for a while, but haven’t yet shared. I had a boat load of photos documenting the process of how I installed the wood trim around my master bathroom mirrors and was so excited to share it with you guys. Unfortunately those photos were all on the…
Holiday decor seems to pop up earlier and earlier every year. And, it’s no secret companies are still dealing with product shortages and shipment delays. So even though I can’t help but roll my eyes when everything shows up in stores super early, I know that if I want something now is the time to…
I made a couple of changes to our master bedroom that I’m so excited about! Here’s what the room had last looked like: The first to change were the drapes. I replaced the dark gray drapes with bright white. And since I like to be completely honest with you guys, I’ll tell you that when…
I’ve had this little black lacquer box hanging around for over a year. It’s good as is, but on the dark metal table I have it on, it blended right in. All I did was drill a hole in the center and add a knob I had laying around. | black lacquer box…
Remember the gallery wall in our last living room? Loved it. Sure, there were a lot of nail holes in that wall, but to me it was worth it to have all of those pictures up. Now that we’re renting, I’m not hip on having to patch and paint a bunch of…
