One of my favorite pieces of Christmas decor to see styled in people’s homes are Christmas village houses. These have been around for ages and are always a classic. I have a very small collection that I recently added to this year. In the process of locating just the right spot for my newest houses I ended up finding out that they look great everywhere! So, I thought I would give you some ideas on how to style Christmas village houses if you want to add some to your decor or are looking for new ways to display your existing houses.

Christmas Houses on Entry Table

This is the set I picked up this year! Couldn’t love it more. So substantial and I adore the handmade/imperfect look. You can purchase them as a set or individually. Ok, so here I’ve grouped a set of five all together on our entry table. I like to add in a mixture of bottle brush trees no matter where they’re set up to give it more of a layered look. These will make a great impression that your guests are sure to see as soon as they enter your home. Setting them up on a table will give you plenty of room to stagger the houses to give it more depth and interest.

Christmas Houses on Fireplace Mantle

Oh I just adore them on the fireplace mantle! Our mantle is very shallow so only the smaller houses would fit up there. But, you can purchase these houses individually or as a set, so if you have a shallow mantle like I do these three will work perfectly.

Christmas Houses on Shelves

Still haven’t decided, but I’m leaning on this being their home this year. This is the newer addition to our kitchen in the nook. These shelves have been so fun to style. I like how the houses tie in with my current decor during the day, and then come to life at night with the lights come on.

Christmas House Lighting Tip

To light up your Christmas houses, add led string lights that have a timer. That way they’ll come on at the same time every day on their own so you don’t have to mess with it. I was able to use one string light set for multiple houses.

Christmas House on the Coffee Table

Finally, the simplest look featuring one large Christmas house on your coffee table. This is a great idea if you are just starting a collection and plan to add one each year. Give your house a good foundation and place it on a stack of books to give it more presence.
