I bought a bed.

That’s right folks, I finally convinced my husband to say syonara to his bachelor bed!!!  This is huge people.  Even though he’s not ready to let go of the rest of the bedroom set, this will make a pretty big dent in getting rid of the the matchy, matchy look.

Here’s what I went with:

I’ve been eyeing it every time I see it pop up on Joss & Main.  When it appeared again I was on it like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat.

It has similar lines to this headboard in one of my inspiration photos, and has the tufted detail I like.

And at a little over $400 I was sold.

I cannot WAIT for it to come in and get it put together.  Fingers crossed I made the right choice.

Have any of you purchased a piece of furniture online without seeing it in person?  How did it turn out for you?  I’ll admit, I’m a little skeerd.

  3. I love it. Spoiled brat. Hahaha. Having an upholstered headboard for nursing Baby in the middle of the night was insanely genius. Not that I knew we'd be having a third when I built it, but it turned out to be FANTASTIC.
    I love that you whittled the hubs down until he broke. Nicely done. 🙂 Can't wait to see it in the room!

  7. Congrats! Too funny because we just replaced our bedroom furniture from Mr. Woodsy's high school room! lol. You are brave buying it online and never seeing it in person; however, I'm sure you made the right decision. I love it!!!
