Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend!  We had a lovely cool front that moved in yesterday and gave us a high of only 94 degrees.  Wahoo!!!  For a place that has seen temps well above 100 for as long as I can remember, it was a blessing.  As was the short lived thunderstorm we had last night.  That’s right my fellow droughters, we’re talking rain!!!  I swear people, I had almost forgotten what rain sounded like!

Ok, on to why we’re here!  New month, new…

Today we have the always entertaining and incredibly creative Cassie from Hi Sugarplum over!!!

Cassie is well, amazing.  She’s an organizing diva…

a crafting freak of nature…

and to top it off, her home is just plain awesome with a side of awesome.

Without further delay, here’s Cassie!

Hey, hey, hey! I’m Cassie from Hi Sugarplum, and I’m thrilled to be taking part in Shelley’s fun series. I’m all kinds of nosy and have loved snooping in other people’s bags, so today I guess it’s only fair I share, too.

 I guess this explains the indention in my right shoulder….I carry a
big bag. I’m kind of a purse whore, so I tend to switch them up
frequently. Right now I’m carrying a cheapie pleather goodie from Forever 21 (or In-There-Forever, as Mr. Sugarplum calls it). Next week it might be a pink patent leather Longchamp, or vintage Louis Vuitton.
So let’s snoop on the contents, shall we? After tossing out the empty wrappers, busted-up sunglasses, a bra (oh yes, it was that kind of weekend!) and ‘feminine protection’, I was left with this….

3. Notebook for jotting ideas, Pocket Calendar for blog post schedule & Pen/Pencil (I still love a good #2. Pencil. I love #2 pencils. Sheesh!)

6. Keys with keyring made by my son

10. Headphones for iPhone, which is usually in my purse, too, but I was actually talking to this girl while taking these pictures!
11. Lipgloss — they are stashed in every purse, in varying brands and colors
12. Dramamine — leftover from a road trip with my kids
13. Leopard zipper bag from Old Navy to hold the little stuff

Oh, and aviators. I’ve never met a pair of cheap, gold aviators that didn’t accompany me home. I hope you’ve had fun poking around in my bidness. Thanks for having me, Shelley!

It most definitely must have been a good weekend if the bras were coming off, ha!  Love it.
Also loving that green bag!!!  I’m going through a green phase where everything I pick up in a store is green.  Do you guys do that?  You find yourself going to the same color over and over for a few months?  Green has been my thing lately.
The fun part of purse snooping is seeing things like the photo strip with her daughter and finding out her key chain was made by her son – double love that stuff 🙂
