need your advice – monogrammed pillows

February 23, 2013

Thanks to the mega snow we got a couple of days ago, I’ve had no reason to leave the house and plenty of time to start in on my euro pillows I mentioned here.
I’m at the point where I need to put on the monogram, but I’m not sure what type to go for.  Or, if I should even do one.
Which do you guys like better?
1 – leave it alone, 2 – plain monogram, 3 – something swirly
What do you think??

i think since you are in the process of selling your home, leave it alone- the less "personal" the better for the buyer.

I think you should do a block monogram but make it larger. You can't go wrong with a monogram.

    I really like number 2 🙂

I love a big monogram, centred on the pillow. But I also think they look great as is, without a monogram.
Looking forward to see how they turn out.

Love the monogram but I would go bigger. Make a statement. I don't believe it will effect the sale of your home.

I think that right now, with selling your house, leave it as is. Later on, if you still want it, add it. I like #2 the best in terms with the style, but I definitely agree that it should maybe be larger – maybe center vertically and horizontally as well.

I don't know why putting a monogram would affect the saleability of your house…that's just dumb. Did you take down all of the pictures? You're house is adorable and you shouldn't have any trouble selling it. As far as the monogram, I like the plain monogram, and maybe a little bigger.

Honestly….I like it with and without the monogram!! They are adorable! I also stage homes and these monograms are not screaming at anyone and distract a buyer so if you want to mongram….monoaway! Now if they were gigantic and also all over your wall….then I would suggest removing them. You don't want buyers to be talking about your monogram and family pics and not looking at the house! They easily get distracted with stuff like this when it jumps in their face. 2 thumbs up!!

I'm torn between 1 and 2. Soooooo, since 1 looks good, I'm goin' with no more work and callin' 'em done. :o)

Leave it alone is my vote.

I tend towards simplicity, but I actually like the plain monogram, too. The script seems to get lost and is harder to read.

    Love the plain monogram!

I agree that you should wait and put a monogram on after you move and make the monogram bigger. Either of the monograms will look great only make them bigger.

I'm always a fan of a good monogram, but in this case I would say leave it alone. 🙂
