When my husband and I first met I jokingly gave him a hard time over how many rugs he had. He became a collector when he lived over in the Middle East and it was funny to me how many rugs a guy in his late 20’s could have. Admittedly, I didn’t appreciate those gorgeous rugs at the time. Several years later the tables have turned, and I no longer believe there is such a thing as too many rugs! There is a new Chris Loves Julia x Loloi collection, you can check that out here, and I eagerly picked up another one with plans on using it in our home office. Things are moving right along in the office, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer before I share it! So in the meantime, I decided to try the new rug out in Sam’s room. It’s so good!! I just might have to find a different one for the office now.
I was gifted a rug of my choice from Loloi; however, all thoughts and options are my own. This post does contain some affiliate links at no additional cost to you. For more information, visit my Disclosure.
It always amazes me how changing out a rug can give a room an entirely new look. You can see his previous rug in this post. This is the Humphrey in Natural + Moss. I wish you could feel how soft this rug is. It’s a low pile, but feels like you are walking on a cloud! I’ve never felt a rug this soft. Sam was so into it he actually asked if he could sleep on the floor! What I love about the pattern is that it reminds me of a Kilim rug where two panels have been sewn together to form a larger rug. The variation in the stripes and colors are so interesting.
More Rugs to Consider
Here’s a few more from the new Chris Loves Julia x Loloi collection as well as some of my other CLJ+Loloi favorites that are worth considering. There are so many sizes available in all of them including runners which are great in kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms.
Humphrey in Natural + Moss // Alice in Cream + Charcoal // Jules in Natural + Ocean
Polly in Antique + Mist // Jules in Lagoon + Brick // Chris in Natural + Sage
Jules in Terracotta + Multi // Polly in Beige + Tobacco // Humphrey in Forest + Multi
Seeing your video touch the nap of the rug shows just how soft this rug is. I’m amazed. Then to top it off a great pattern for any room. Love it.
It feels like walking on a really soft faux fur blanket.
