nursery design board

August 20, 2012

I finally decided on a direction for the nursery as soon as I found those animal portraits I posted about last week.  Here’s where I’m thinking of taking it.  Of course, things could always change.  I reserve the right to be a crazy indecisive pregnant lady ðŸ˜‰
1. mobile, 2. fabric clockwise – Suburban Tree of Life, Crisscross, Claridge Wisdom, 3. sheepskin, 4. bedding, 5. fox hook, 6. animal art, 7. rug
I’ll be using the main furniture pieces that are left over from Izzy’s nursery.  This dresser of hers I picked up from an antique store and painted.
And her espresso crib.
I would love to use, as in it physically pains me not to, the Jenny Lind crib I bought off Craig’s List for photographing my Baby Nest bedding.  But, it’s completely rigged together and I’m not sure I could ever get it secure enough where I’d feel comfortable putting our baby in it.
Just love the classic lines of that crib though.  *sigh*
I’ll let you guys know when I get started in there.  Which, finger’s crossed, is sooner than later!
If you haven’t already, get yourself entered in to win the Cutting Edge Stencils giveaway!  Last chance to enter is Tuesday August 21, at 11:59 CST!

Adore all the pattern mixing in the prettiest hues for a nursery! So soft and neutral, the perfect spot to call a baby's first space! Just a dash of fur and I'm totally on board! Fabulous mix!

Would love to get your thoughts on my most recent hotel renovation when you get a chance! Hope to see you soon!

I'm always so impressed with people who have the patience to do idea boards. I'm more of a, wake up and start in, kinda person. The design boards are always so pretty! The dresser you painted is super cute. That sucks about the crib. You need to call in a Handy Manny to get it dialed in for ya. :o)

I finally opened my Reader. Gad – over 600 posts. I went through my top five faves and marked the rest as read. Your dining room looks awesome by the way. The molding (moulding?) turned out so good. I don't know which one of those spelling's to use either. lol

So adorable. I love those animal portraits and the color scheme. I'm doing gray yellow and lilac. I really need to hop to it though. I'm getting close.

Of course you can be a crazy, indecisive, pregnant lady!! The inspiration looks fabulous though, I really love it. The texture especially.

I love the direction that you're headed. I'm in big trouble once it comes time for our next one and doing the nursery. There are so many cute ways to go – great fabrics, art, projects that can make the room.
