We are less than a month away from Spring, can you believe it? I’m really looking forward to spending more time outdoors and getting some flowers planted. And this Spring and Summer is going to be even better than ever thank to our outdoor living makeover with ! You guys, I have been so excited to share this with you!! Our outdoor living space has been coming together since last Spring when we put in a pool. With furnishings now in place, all we have left to do is the landscaping. But honestly, I don’t even care about landscaping now because I can’t take my eyes off the new furniture. I’ll have a list of sources along with sweepstakes information at the end of this post!

Before

We are so happy to have a covered patio space with this house. Especially living somewhere where the Summer sun is incredibly intense. Technically the space worked because it gave us somewhere to sit in the shade. But, I knew it could be so much more comfortable and beautiful with the right outdoor furniture.

After

Comfort has arrived, and everything functions so much better now!! And the patio looks far more beautiful and intentional. Going with larger furniture that fits the space made such a difference.

Outdoor Sofa

Let’s start on the patio and work our way out. The largest piece we added was the . Yes, believe it or not it is an outdoor piece!! This sofa is modeled after their indoor version but is made to withstand the outdoor elements. We have it in the Dove color which leans more toward grey than tan. This sofa is 116″ wide making it a perfect fit for larger patio spaces. It arrives in three sections so it is easy to move around. And so comfortable!! When it first arrived my husband and I kept sneaking out to take naps on it together.

Swivel Lounge Chairs

These chairs are the best!!! I wanted a swivel chair for the purpose of being able to easily rotate outward to see what is going on in the yard and pool. But, I didn’t want it to look like a swivel chair. The was the perfect solution. We have them in Weathered Raffia with Dove cushions. The wicker is a performance resin made from recyclable high-density polyethylene that withstands the elements and does not fade or crack due to sun exposure. The chairs are a nice large size where you can comfortably curl your legs up. Important things to know!

I highly suggest considering a swivel. This allows us to easy go back and forth between an intimate seating area on the patio to opening up to the pool and chaise lounge area. The outdoor accent pillows on the chairs are also from Bassett. They are the print, a custom fabric option available upon request.

Outdoor Coffee Table

As I do with furnishings indoors, I like a blend of different styles with outdoor furnishings. To offset the chunkier (in a good way) sofa and chairs I went with the for it’s delicate metal legs. I also wanted something that would tie in with the metal chandelier. The top of the table looks like natural stone, but it’s actually a lightweight faux travertine that cleans easily so you don’t have to worry about staining.

Outdoor Chaise Lounge

Not gonna lie, I have been the most excited about having chaise lounges by the pool! As soon as we started planning for our pool I designated a spot just for them. Check out all the outdoor chaise lounge options Bassett has available . Cushions are in the Dove fabric to tie back in with the sofa and swivel chairs.

Umbrella

An umbrella is a must for comfortable outdoor living. This is their with the . The tilting feature is perfect for keeping the sun off your face throughout the day. I will even take the umbrella out of the base and use it in our pool’s built in stand. Perfect for those super hot days when you want to be in the water, but not in the sun.

Outdoor Side Table

Don’t forget a spot to sit your drinks! It’s easy to forget about this part. But adding an outdoor side table next to your chaise lounges is always a great idea. This is the . It ties back in with the coffee table on the patio. I has the same faux travertine top and is lightweight so you can easily move it around should you want to.
