Earlier this year it felt like Summer Break would never get here. Now that we’re in the thick of it we are soaking up every single minute of out back and in the new pool. We’re still waiting on our outdoor patio furniture to arrive, but until then I’ve added a few outdoor patio accessories that will transition well when the furniture does arrive. Let me show you around!

A few years ago I purchased my first Serena & Lily beach towels and completely fell in love. They’re the largest most plush beach towels I have ever owned and they laundered so incredibly well. Even the tassels still look new! This year I purchased these classic striped towels (and I just ordered an additional two) so that we’re no longer fighting over who gets the nice towels. This beach towel comes in multiple colors, and I’m telling ya it could even be used as an outdoor throw. It’s big.
When I think of Serena & Lily I think of this Montecito pillow. I have always loved it. It doesn’t at all look like your traditional outdoor pillow with it’s texture and tassels, but it is! Even though it’s built to handle being outside it’s still soft and right at home indoors as well. Right now it looks great siting on our Adirondack chairs, but it’s also going to transition well when our new patio furniture arrives.
When adding outdoor patio accessories, you just can’t go wrong with lanterns. The glow of a candle outside is just so magical. Extra magical if that candle is citronella and it’s working to keep the mosquitos away! With our patio planters being so large I needed lanterns that wouldn’t feel tiny next to them. I went with these woven lanterns that look like rattan but are a weather resistant resin. They also come in more colors. The weave is so pretty and I like the extra interest they bring to the patio area.
More Outdoor Accessories to Consider
Ok, so tell me, have you tried their beach towels out yet? I’m so in love!!
