I think it’s fair to say that we all love those beautiful European doorways.

Have you ever noticed those beautiful enamel house numbers that they all have in common? I just love them! Simple and graphic.

RAMSIGN was created in Copenhagen with founder Nick Brandt’s love of vintage advertising signs. A collector of vintage signs himself, he found that the quality of the enamel signs didn’t diminish with age. He says, “Today, the colors of these vintage signs are still vibrant and bright, even though they were produced over 100 years ago.” In 1991 he learned the dying craft of creating hand-stenciled porcelain enamel signs. Visitors to his store felt an emotional connection to the signs and RAMSIGN grew in popularity.

And if you’re not needing a house number, there are a number of other signs and many ways to use them. I have just ordered a name plate with Beware of Dog written on it and cannot wait to get it in!
