What kind of panties are you wearing?

Seriously, if you have a brand/style of panties you love, I want to know!

Here’s the dealio.  I was doing laundry the other day and while I was folding my underwear it suddenly hit me.  I was FOLDING my underwear.  It was so large that I felt the need to fold it over several times.  Gah!!!  My pre-pregnancy pretty panties have been completely taken over by my buy-in-bulk big ol’ panties I ended up wearing towards the end of my pregnancy.  I had Sam over 10 months ago.  Why am I still wearing these?!!!

I’ll tell you why.  Because they’re like that perfectly worn in pair of lounge pants that you don’t want anyone seeing you wear outside of the house, but that you can’t get rid of because although they are fugly as all get out, they are soooo comfortable.

That is where I’m at with my ugly panties.

The time has come for me to let go.  But, I don’t want to let go of comfort.  I refuse to go back to pretty panties that make me want to torch them after a few hours.  I must have something that is pretty and doesn’t ride up.  I know, in panty world that doesn’t really exist.  That’s why I need your help!  None of that cheeky crap either.  One step or bend forward and we’re out of the comfort zone.

I keep hearing women raving over Hanky Panky.

But at $28 a pair, I want to make sure they’re really all that they’re cracked up to be.

Do you gals have an absolute favorite panty?  I need details!!!

i need some of those- i would be mortified if someone saw my undergarment drawer….. i tend to wear them til they are falling apart. i do that with pj pants, too- they have to have holes and not be able to stay on anymore. i figure chris is stuck with me anyhow, so as long as they still do their job who cares?!? my friends are all surprised when they hear this dirty little secret. 🙂

LOVE Hanky Panky ~ I see them on sale every once in awhile. They feel like butter! 🙂

I do love hanky panky too! I only have a few though as they are expensive. But the quality is great. I've purchased mine at a discount through Rue La La. Also, I wear VS lacy panties, and I like those too.

HAHA!! Best post ever!! I love how honest you always are; it's the reason I always come back to your blog! 🙂 I have definitely been in your current post-baby pitiful state. The Hanky Panky panties are really nice, and mine have washed really nicely without tearing the lace of getting that piling effect. Good luck!

Hilarious. And never in my life would I spend that on ONE pair of panties. That's insanity. I have a ton of cotton granny panties, too. But I LOVE silky boy shorts. They're my fave and I'm puttin' more on my Xmas list. I have some Maidenform that are my faves and some Candie's lace boy shorts that are really comfy, too.

I want some of those too!!

I think the Hanky Panky brands are so cute. Hanro has some nice "sensible" underwear as my mom would say…lol! Both brands are somewhat expensive, but finding them on sale would be nice. garnethill.com usually has a great slection of both brands. I am not as "petite" as you, so I have to get the more sensible kind…Vanity Fair is a good brand also and are made well.

Best opening line to a blog post ever. EVER. I own one pair of Hanky Pankys & do love them (they were a gag gift from some girls party) but can't justify the cost! Hey to answer your question, I'm currently wearing these:

    They're comfy, non-wedgie & non-bulky. Though technically I can still fold them. 😉

I love the Hanes cotton stretch boy breif with lace details. They are really comfortable and still look cute. They come in a 3 pack at target for $8.50. http://www.target.com/p/hanes-women-s-comfortsoft-lace-waistband-cotton-stretch-3-pack-cotton-stretch-boy-brief-et49l/-/A-14189378#prodSlot=large_1_22

I love the Gilligan & O'Malley line at Target! I've purchased several styles, and have loved them all…truthfully, I like them better than ones I have from VS and Gap body!
