I am drooling over that bed! Several years ago I spotted a Jenny Lind bed frame by a dumpster and I still regret not grabbing it! 🙂 I think it is definitely appropriate for a boys room. I think a navy blue or a cool dark red would be very nice. Paired with the right bedding, it would work in a boys room for sure.
Great find!! I actually came across a painted one on craigslist yesterday, and had to talk myself off the buying ledge.. even when I don't need these things, I have a hard time passing up good finds. 🙂 Can't wait to see how it comes together in Sam's room. I love the inspiration pics and think it will look awesome!

Black. But also like the idea of midnight blue. And even though they are boys…they still like color. Maybe orange? Samantha wants to paint her furniture. Not sure I can bring myself to paint it pink…and don't think she'll go for gray. Can't wait to see what you do here.
