There are a couple of things under construction right now.  First up, and most excitingly, around the first of the year I mentioned how I wanted to add a window seat with storage to our playroom in this post.  If you follow my stories on Instagram then you may have already seen a sneak peek at what has been built!

This is the wall we started with.  Well, of course, minus all the toys and kid clutter.  At this point an electrician had already moved wires around so we could have sconces added to the bookcases.

The cabinets were built in the garage and then brought up to the playroom.  Now, I have to admit that I flew the white flag of surrender on this project and had them built by a professional.  Some things are beyond my abilities.

Everything is finally installed!  There are wires sticking out the sides of the bookcases where some sconces will end up going.  Now, I just need to figure out when I’m going to have time to paint the thing!  But, I am already THRILLED with how much storage we now have!!!

Second project?  You may have noticed the blog looks different!  I just made the switch over from Blogger to WordPress.  Things are still under construction with this so bare with me while I try to get all of it figured out and working correctly.  Definitely not an easy task!

So, that’s been the crazy and exciting stuff going on around here lately.  Can’t wait to have both projects done!
