pantry makeover | after

April 4, 2014

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen a sneak peek at my newly organized pantry.

It feels so good to have my act together in here finally!

To keep the bulky like items corralled, I went with baskets and bins.

The Play-doh is still hanging out in the pantry, but is all grouped together in a larger basket that I stole from my fiddle leaf fig (which means I’ve now got to get another basket for that).

I reused my wire shelves for stacking smaller items.

The overflow pasta that we use regularly now lives in jars next to the other pasta goods.  My husband is a big time Ramen noodle fan 🙂

Izzy likes having her snacks all in one spot.

To the right of the pantry door are items that don’t work as well in a basket.  Like items all have their own shelf.

The spices on the door are now in alphabetical order (such a time saver).  The seasonings and rubs have their own racks, as do the different salts and peppers.  Any duplicates are on the highest rack.

This breaks it down further on how I grouped items.

She’s so pretty and organized that I’ve caught myself opening the door just to peek in and look at her.  I was hoping an organized pantry would make me want to cook more.  So far, no changes there.

Ha! You're funny! No increased desire to cook? I really like the storage on the door. Do you find it is stable – no tipping? – even though it is supported in the middle only? What a great idea – better than the over the door hanging storage. A gorg pantry redo! I'd peek too!!

I love this! Looks fabulous! I'm mid-re-organise with my pantry – you've given me some great inspiration. (P.S. I used the exact same door rack system as you – great minds, huh?) 😉
